My Family Vacation: Walt Disney World

Some of you may know, about a month ago we returned from our family vacation in Walt Disney World.  Days after school ended, we packed up our best t-shirts and shorts and made our way to the happiest place on earth.  We had been there once before as a family, about three years ago.  Our girls were little then, and I don’t remember much about the trip, it was all such a blur.  The one thing I did hold on to was the magic.  The feeling of magic that has become what Disney does so best.  I had hoped that this trip would hold the same magic.

Boy did it ever.  With the girls a few years older, so many new options opened up to us.  We got to experience more rides, and stay later in the park.  Character meet and greets weren’t a hassle like they were last time with a two-year old.  Overall, the girls seemed to enjoy it more.  Funnily enough, so did we.  I can’t begin to tell you all the fun we had.  Last time we went, we had read many books about how to “do” the parks the most efficient way, and we were obsessed with following those plans.  This time, we threw all that out the window, and just let things happen.  It’s amazing how much more you can see and experience when you take the time to look around.

So to get our Monday started, I thought I’d share some of the great pictures from our trip.  I’ve begun scrapping them all, but I am nowhere near done.  When I am, I’ll be sure to share those with you.  For now though, you can click through the slide show and see some of the magical times we had while on vacation.
