I am Aaron, and I’m the man behind Sir Scrapalot. I am a teacher by trade, and balance a full time job of teaching 7th grade math, a beautiful wife and two young daughters, and scrapbooking about my crazy life.
This blog is a place where I can share my experiences, and what I’ve learned from them, with you. I believe that as people, and especially scrapbookers, we are in a constant state of teaching, learning, and living. With this blog, I am marrying my two loves – teaching and scrapbooking, and taking them to new heights.
I write about a variety of topics from my crazy life. My posts most often focus on scrapbooking, time management, social media and sharing the unique tips and techniques I use to conquer all three. I’m an avid shopper as well, so I occasionally blog about products I believe in from around the digi world.
My goal is to provide you with the opportunities to learn from what I’ve been through, what I’ve done, and what I’ve learned over time. When we stop learning, we stop living. If you are interested in scrapbooking, managing your time, or conquering social media, this blog is for you.
For the past three years, I’ve been part of the digi scrap community as a digi scrap designer, designing whimsical and fun kits and digital scrapbooking products. Over the course of the last year, I expanded the brand to include a larger focus on educating scrapbookers and sharing my experiences. Finding that education was my true passion, I left designing behind to re-start Sir Scrapalot as digi scrap resource.
I currently guest post for Simple Scrapper and The Daily Digi. I am a frequent guest on The Digi Show at thedigishow.com. I currently am part of the creative teams for Meghan Mullens, Amanda Heimann, Cindy Schneider, and Tracie Stroud, as well as part of the team at The Daily Digi.
I currently have a number of projects in development, all focusing around the idea of educating digi scrappers. You can also check out my class at Big Picture Classes, Digi Clustering Like a Pro. I am also putting together topics for a potential book, and staying active in the digi community.
I’ve been married to my wife Stephanie for 9 years, and we have two beautiful daughters – Natalie, 7 and Keira, 5. We live in New England, where both my wife and I are teachers. She teaches English Language Arts, and I teach Middle School Math. In our free time, we enjoy spending time with our girls, reading, and collecting Disney memorabilia. In addition, I am a sucker for pop culture and music in general.
